Turn to SolidWorks for Sheet Metal and Fabrication. Why?

Because SolidWorks makes it simple!

I’d like to invite you to come along to an event we’re holding in April where we will be showing just how SolidWorks 3D design solutions help simplify working with Sheet Metal and Fabrication. In the live session you will see the broad set of SolidWorks sheet metal tools. From detailed design to production ready documentation, SolidWorks software provides the most complete set of tools in the industry. Here are three recent examples of where we’ve helped people in the West Midlands area:

1.  SolidWorks has the ability to import a large variety of CAD data. Import STEP or IGES files and flatten them to send to your machine as a DXF file. SolidWorks enables you to do this using the automated flatten tools in the Sheet Metal Toolbar reducing the time it takes you to do so massively.

2.  In SolidWorks 2012 the new Costings Tool allows you to give an accurate cost per part for sheet metal files received from your clients.

3.  Interface directly with Gold Partner product SigmaNest for the layout and production of punched or laser cut components.

These tools coupled with a simple to use interface make SolidWorks software the right choice for anyone considering switching to 3D for sheet metal design and manufacture.

But don’t take our word for it. Why not come along to one of our events and see for yourself just how it could help you.
